Patricia A. Swetz, 81, a long-time resident of Pawling, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT.
Moving to Pawling in 1986 from Lake Mohegan, NY, Patty was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on March 16, 1936 to the late George and Marion (Quigley) Burke. She married Howard Swetz who predeceased her about 10 years ago.
Patty was an avid, very talented artist, favoring oils and watercolors. She was a faithful attendant of St. John’s Church in Pawling.
She is survived by her son, Michael A. Swetz of Pawling, formerly of New Hartford, CT; two grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah Swetz, both of New Hartford; and two siblings, George Burke of New Rochelle, NY and Thelma Giordano of Yorktown, NY.
Arrangements are private, under the direction of the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
