New York City woman arrested for possessing forged check

Wappinger, New York – On April 21, 2017, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Denisse Gimenez, age 19, of New York, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony.
An investigation revealed that Gimenez attempted to cash a forged check on April 21, 2017 at a bank located in the Town of Wappinger.
Gimenez was arraigned in the Town of LaGrange Court and released on her own recognizance. Her next appearance was scheduled for April 26, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. in the Town of Wappinger Court.
