PLEASANT VALLEY – Gale M. Cochran, 80 of the Town of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Gale was born in Michigan on July 29, 1936 to the late Clifford and Macie Russ. She married Thomas John Cochran who resides at home.
Gale was employed for many years as a travel agent and most recently sales in Antiques at the Millbrook, NY Antique Center. She loved to travel and enjoyed playing mahjong.
In addition to her husband, Gale is survived by her daughters Nora Stewart, Catherine Stewart Greenfield, Sandra Stewart Puchi, Deidre Cochran all of Colorado, sisters Betty Samuels of Michigan, Beverly Rudd of Florida, brothers Jim and Bob Russ of Michigan, grandchildren, Ryan Greenfield, Cory Greenfield, Anthony Sanchez and Crista Puchi of Colorado, Julia Puchi of Hawaii, Anna Puchi of California several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Gale is predeceased by brothers Ray and Don Russ and sister Barbara Bigelow.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
