This morning at 10:04 hours, Rhinebeck units along with NDP were dispatched to a reported Auto accident with minor injury at Route 9G and Kalina Drive. Arriving units found a vehicle on a snow bank with two occupants still inside. Due to the impact being on the drivers side of the vehicle, the door was stuck shut. Fire personnel forced the door open using the Jaws of Life, and both occupants were then transported to local hospitals for evaluation. Also assisting on scene were the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and Rikerts Auto Body. The vehicle was removed and roadway reopened by 10:45.
