Orange County Child Abuse Unit Announces the Arrest of a Newburgh Man for Predatory Sexual Assault of a Child

On March 6, 2017 members of the Orange County Child Abuse Unit arrested Jose A. Majano, age 61 of Newburgh after an investigation determined that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with a child less than thirteen years of age.

Majano was charged with Predatory Sexual Assault of a Child, a Class A Felony.  He was arraigned in the City of Newburgh Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail with no bail set.
