A Pawling man was injured Friday morning after his luxury car was crushed by a tractor-trailer on the George Washington Bridge, officials said.
Port Authority Police and Firefighters responded to the upper-level eastbound side of the bridge at about 11:30 a.m. after a crash was reported between two tractor-trailers and an SUV, Port Authority Spokesman Joseph Pentangelo said.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz SUV became trapped in his vehicle and had to be cut out by emergency responders. The driver, a 61-year-old man from Pawling, N.Y., was transported to Harlem Hospital where he was treated for a broken arm and contusions.
