Troopers arrest Port Jervis man for burglary

PRESS RELEASE
The New York State Police at SP Wurtsboro announce the arrest of Dylan E. Ward, age 17, of Port Jervis NY for Burglary 3rd, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th and Criminal Mischief 3rd, all felonies and Possession of Burglars Tools, a misdemeanor.
This arrest was the result of an investigation into the February 27th burglary of Malek Gold Buyers during which a glass display case was destroyed and the contents therein stolen. A video security system within the store captured the incident and helped lead to the identity of the alleged perpetrator, Dylan E.Ward.
Ward was arraigned before Village of Bloomingburg Justice James Cracolici who committed Ward to the Sullivan County Jail on $20,000 cash bail. Ward is scheduled to appear at the Village of Bloomingburg Court on 04/07/15 at 6:00pm.
