Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for Brooklyn Man

On February 24, 2017 Troopers assigned to Troop T Newburgh conducted a traffic stop on I-87 Northbound in the Town of Plattekill Ulster County.   As a result of the stop and interview it was determined that the operator, SEAN A. HASANOEDDIN, age 37, of Brooklyn NY, provided a false name and a fictitious Connecticut Driver’s license during the traffic stop.  HASANOEDDIN was also found to possess a forged credit card during the investigation.

HASANOEDDIN was charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of A Forged Instrument 3nd Class D Felony
Identity Theft in the 2nd degree a Class E Felony
Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree a Class A Misdemeanor
False Personation a Class B Misdemeanor
DWAI Drugs – Misdemeanor

HASANOEDDIN was arraigned before Town of Plattekill Justice Annamaria Maciocia and remanded to the Ulster County Jail without Bail.
