Obituary, Anthony Thomas Marvin

 

 

Poughkeepsie – Anthony Thomas Marvin, 23, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away at home on February 21, 2017. He was born on October 31, 1993 in Poughkeepsie, NY to Justi Marvin. He graduated from Arlington High School and was a direct care worker at the Anderson School in Pine Plains, NY.

Anthony loved his music; one of his favorites was Michael Jackson. He enjoyed movies; The Walking Dead, Fast and Furious, the Sopranos and Game of Thrones, Xbox, video games and was an avid gun lover shooting at the range with his friends. He loved making videos on YouTube, making people laugh and was a “Gentle Giant”. Anthony adored his cat; “Smokey”. I will always love my “Little Glitzie”, Love Ma.

He is survived by his mother Justi of Poughkeepsie, NY, Uncle Pete (Loriann) of Red Hook, NY, Auntie Judi (Uncle Larry) “Bub” of Hyde Park, NY, Great Aunt Judith (Longi) Pannozzo of Cortland, NY, cousins; Peter, LisaMarie, William and Thomas Marvin, Ryan and Erica Palmer, special cousin Kristi Holtz.

He was predeceased by his cherished grandparents whose love was immeasurable, William E. Marvin and Joyce (Longi) Marvin, which he will unite with them again.

Visitation is Friday February 24th from 4-8pm at  39 S. Hamilton St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. 845-452-1840. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday February 25, 10am at Holy Trinity Church 775 Main St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wappinger’s Falls, NY.
