Lana Morrison Retires From Salisbury Bank

It is with regret but warm wishes that Salisbury Bank and Trust Company announces the retirement of long-time employee Lana Morrison.

Lana started with the Bank in September 1983, and has worked in many roles. She started as a Teller when the Sharon Branch first opened, and transferred to Loan Servicing for 13 years where she became a Supervisor. Lana returned to the retail division to assume the Branch Manager position in Lakeville and then in Sharon, and when Salisbury Bank opened the Sheffield Branch in 2004, she became its first Branch Manager. Lana returned to the lending department in 2005 to originate both residential and commercial loans.

When the Millerton Branch opened in 2010, Lana transferred there as Branch Manager, and has been growing the branch ever since. Her last day with the Bank will be March 6, 2017.

“We are indebted to Lana for her 33 years of service to the bank, our customers, and the community,” said Betsy Summerville, Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Officer. “Her commitment to customer service has assured our success in the Millerton market since opening that branch in 2010, and her extensive knowledge and experience will surely be missed by all who have had the pleasure of working with her. Please join me in thanking Lana and wishing her a happy and healthy retirement.”

Lana will continue to work part-time as a freelance bookkeeper. She plans to spend time with friends and family, playing golf and tennis, and gardening.
