State Police Monroe arrest couple for Endangering the Welfare of a Vulnerable Adult

John Quick               Mary Quick

State Police Monroe arrested Mr. John Quick and Mrs. Mary Quick of Silent Farms in Goshen, New York. John Quick was arrested on February 8, 2017 and Mary Quick was arrested on February 14, 2017. They were both charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Vulnerable Adult and Grand Larceny after members of the Office of Human Services of Orange County Social Services and the Office of Adult Services of Orange County Social Services had removed a 59 year old Mentally Disabled man from the stable hand quarters of a barn where he had been living for the past several years. Subsequent to the investigation it was determined that the couple had assumed control of the man’s bank account and removed funds without authorization to do so.

John Quick was arraigned in the Village of Florida Court and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $500 bail or $1000 bond and ordered to appear in the Town of Goshen Court on 02/22/2017 at 1:30 p.m. Mary Quick was arraigned in the Village of Court and ROR’d and ordered to reappear in the Town of Goshen Court on 02/22/2017 at 1:30 p.m.
