The Pawling Library Celebrates Love with Author Bernadette Shustak

Saturday, February 11th preschool families gathered to meet Bernadette Rossetti-Shustak, author of I Love You Through & Through, the timeless book of our endless love for our little ones.  Mrs. Rossetti-Shustak read the book to families and there were smiles all around.  “To me, “I Love You Through and Through” is about unconditional love and total acceptance. I think it is very important for children to be assured of their parents love and support. You can never say, “I love you” too many times,” said Mrs. Rosetti-Shustak.

With that in mind, families learned another way to say “I love you” using the Tony Chestnut song and created special family Valentines to take home.  Before leaving for the night, families gathered one last time to help Mrs. Rossetti-Shustak retell I Love You Through & Through.  Filled with lots of love and hugs, this program was the perfect way to spend an evening with all of our little Valentines!
