Obituary, Rosemary Dietz

 

 

Rosemary Dietz passed away peacefully at her home in Poughquag, Sunday, February 12, 2017; she was 78.

Born in the Bronx on September 26, 1938, she was the daughter of Anthony “Ted” Ullrich and Rose Savel, and wife of the late John “Jack” Dietz, who predeceased her on November 24, 2005.

Before retiring, Rosemary was a supervisor at the Foundation for Christian Living in Pawling.

Rosemary was an excellent cook, and loved cooking for her family.

She is survived by her son Dirk Dietz of Naugatuck, CT; three daughters, Debbie Shaw of Gulf Port, FL, Donna Ciliberto (Steve) of Pawling, and Dawn Papp of LaGrangeville; seven grandchildren, Melissa Darmau, Justin Papp, Jason Papp, Mary Dietz, Amy Dietz, Jake Papp, and Lori Dietz; and a great-grandson, Simon Darmau.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a grandson, Eric Shaw.

Arrangements are private, under the direction of the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
