State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks search for missing 14-year-old Town of Beekman runaway

Beekman, New York – The New York State Police from Poughkeepsie are seeking the public’s assistance to help locate 14-year-old Dakaia M. Andrew, of Beekman, New York.

Dakaia reportedly ran away from his home on January 15, 2017.  He is described as being 5’7″ tall and weighing about 130 pounds.  Dakaia has brown eyes, black hair and both ears are pierced.  He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants with white lettering. He is believed to be staying with friends in the Dutchess County area.

Troopers have checked several locations attempting to locate the runaway.  Anyone with information regarding Dakaia Andrew’s location is asked to contact the New York State Police by calling (845) 677-7300.
