Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges for New Jersey Man

PRESS RELEASE

01/14/17 – The New York State Police in Kingston arrested 43 year old Demetrios Prevezanos of Rochelle, NJ for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th (D Felony) and Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th (B Misdemeanor).

Prevezanos was arrested subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop on SR 28 in the Town of Ulster.  Prevezanos was arraigned at the Town of Kingston Court before Judge Richard Alberstadt and remanded to Ulster County Jail on $5,000 cash/$10,000 bond.
