Two Verplanck residents charged with Criminal Trespass

Cortlandt, New York – On December 19, 2016, New York State Police from the Cortlandt Barracks arrested 19-year-old Sarah Pisanelli and Carrie F. Roberts, age 23, both of Verplanck, New York, for two counts of Criminal Trespass 2^nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to the Watergate Motel for a reported trespass complaint.  An investigation revealed that Roberts and Pisanelli stayed overnight in a motel room without permission or payment. The defendants were each charged with two counts of Criminal Trespass 2^nd for entering the room on two occasions in December.

The defendants were arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and released on their own recognizance.  They are scheduled to appear in Cortlandt Court on December 27, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
