State Police and Greene County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Two Robberies in Greene County

The New York State Police and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office are investigating two robberies that occurred at two Greene County Convenience Stores. The first robbery occurred on October 28, 2016 at approximately 2:49am at the Cumberland Farms Store in Hunter, N.Y.  The second robbery occurred on November 1, 2016 at approximately 12:15am at The Cumberland Farms Store in Greenville, N.Y.  In both cases, the perpetrator was described as a tall male, thin build, wearing dark clothing concealing his identity. The perpetrator demanded monies from the respective clerks and fled on foot from both locations with cash. Law Enforcement is urging anyone with possible related information to call either the State Police or Greene County Sheriff’s Office at 518-622-8600 or 518-943-3300 ext#4.
