Just in case the lure of chocolate isn’t enough to convince you to put the Pawling Rotary Chocolate Festival on your calendar on November 12th, The good folks from Guiding Eyes for the Blind will be there with their adorably furry future service dogs for everyone to OOOOOH and AHHHHH over!  Come to the Lathrop Center in Lakeside Park between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to meet these baby furballs. Then, after you have had your cuteness fix, join the vendors inside the auditorium for chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!

The Pawling Rotary Chocolate Festival has become a favorite community event, with over 650 attendees tasting, buying, and indulging in this universally favorite food.  Among the many vendors that will be featured this year are:  Aunt NeNee’s Cookies, Bakeria, CDC Farms, Cheesecake Heaven, Dutchess Coffee, Forget me Not Cupcakes, Honeybrook Farms, Lisa’s Confections, New Confectioner, Pawling Bread Company, Rosann’s Kitchen, Sundog Cider and Whipped Cupcakes, to name a few.  All vendors have samples of their wares available for tasting (while supplies last).

There will also be fudge and milkshake booths manned by the students from Pawling Recreation / Pawling Rotary Interact Club and the ever-popular Pawling Rotary Chocolate Fountain where dark and milk chocolate will be flowing throughout the afternoon.  STAT face painting will be on hand for both children and adults who would like to take part in this fun activity.

The Pawling Rotary Club’s Third Annual Chocolate Festival is being  generously sponsored this year by Castagna Realty Corporation, Sheriff Butch Anderson , The Daniels Family, Dutchess Auto Body, Edison Cleaners, Emery & Webb, Fairway Accounting, Mizzentop Day School,  Patterson Auto Body, Fountain Plumbing and Heating, Good Tidings Gift Shop, McKinney & Doyle Fine Foods Cafe, Pawling Beer & Soda, Phoenix Pottery, Vinny’s Deli & Pasta, and Zarecki and Associates.

Proceeds from this annual fundraiser will be used to support Pawling’s youngsters.
