Rhinebeck, New York – On October 22, 2016, New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Justin J. Parker, 31 years old, and 27-year-old Kimberly Brand, both of Poughkeepsie, NY, for Offering a False Instrument for filing in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony.

On October 12, 2016, Troopers responded to the Tops Supermarket in Rhinebeck for a shoplifting complaint.  A subsequent investigation conducted by the responding officer revealed that Brand had stolen over $580 worth of razors, shaving cream and other over the counter medications.  Parker reportedly stole approximately $989 worth of merchandise from the store.  Both subjects were charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor.  Throughout the arrest processing, Parker and Brand supplied police with fictitious names to hide their true identity.  As a result, arrest documents were created in the names of Sean Gillen and Jenna Brezovsky.

Several days later, it was learned that Brand and Parker were lodged in Dutchess County Jail for an unrelated matter.   Troopers responded to the Dutchess County Jail and charged Parker and Brand with Petit Larceny and Offering a False Instrument for filing in the 1stDegree.

Both subjects were scheduled to appear in the Town of Rhinebeck Court on October 27, 2016.
