Veronica Cullimore, 74, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT.

A resident of Poughquag, NY since 1969, formerly of Yonkers, NY, she was born in Newcastle West, County Limerick, Ireland, on July 8, 1942 and was the daughter of Harry and Mary (Taylor) Massey.  She married Patrick J. Cullimore in Newcastle West on September 4, 1965; he survives at home in Poughquag.

Veronica loved cooking for her family and friends, and was a communicant of St. John’s Church, Pawling.

In addition to her husband, Patrick, she is survived by her sons  Patrick (Sondra) Cullimore of Pawling and Desmond (Kelly) Cullimore of Powell OH; her daughters, Deirdre Cullimore of Bronx, NY and Eileen (Michael) Pignataro of Millbrook, NY; three grandchildren, Ian, Isabel, and Ana Cullimore; three brothers, Richard, Raymond, and Anthony Massey, all of Newcastle West; three sisters, Essie O’Reardon of England, Kathleen Donnelly of Yonkers, NY, and Madge Caddy of New Zealand; and many nieces and nephews, and friends.

Family and friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Tuesday, October 25th from6-8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 AM at St. John’s Church, Pawling.  Burial will follow in Quaker Hill Cemetery, Pawling, NY.
