State Police investigate Town of Wappinger shooting

State Police in Wappingers are investigating a shooting that took place at the Shadowbrook Gun Club located at 33 Chelsea Rd, Chelsea, NY.
On October 8, 2016, the gun club was being rented out for a private party. At approximately 10:30pm, a person who was attending the event was shot by an unknown assailant. The victim, who received non-life threatening injuries, was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
