Somers, New York – On September 28, 2016, BCI and Uniform members of the New York State Police Somers barracks executed a search warrant in Westchester County relative to a suspected marijuana growing operation being conducted at a residence.
The NYSP seized two marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia, and a small quantity of marijuana inside the home.
A 17-year-old was subsequently arrested and charged with Unlawfully Growing Cannabis (a misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (a violation).
This subject was also charged with Criminal Trespass (a misdemeanor) regarding an unrelated burglary investigation that was initiated in June of 2016.
He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to reappear in Town Court.
