Marlboro Man Arrested for Burglary

PRESS RELEASE

New York State Police at Highland report the arrest of Cyle A. Olsen, age 24, from Marlbor, NY. Olsen was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree, Fleeing a Police Officer in the Third Degree, and Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree.

Olsen was arrested after leading State Police on a pursuit that started in the town of Crawford and eventually ended when the suspect struck an Ulster County Sheriff’s Deputy cruiser and then a telephone pole in the town of New Paltz. The vehicle was found to be stolen in a burglary of a Marlboro home earlier in the day.

Olsen was arraigned in the Town of New Paltz Court. He was sent to Ulster County Jail without bail and is due to return to the Town of New Paltz Court at a later date.
