WASHINGTON — A Washington  man appeared in court Tuesday on charges of running a “drug factory” from his 2.5-acre Blackville Road home.

Jon Lynch, 58, is accused of felonies of possessing drugs he intended to sell and risking injury to a child. Lynch appeared in state Superior Court in Bantam Ct. Tuesday on those charges,  along with two misdemeanors and a violation for failing to properly store a loaded gun.

Lynch turned himself in Aug. 24 after he learned of a warrant for his arrest. Police learned that he was running the “factory” out of his quaint colonial-style home in early  July, court documents said.

Lynch was released on a $10,000 bond, and his next court date is Sept. 20.
