MILLERTON, NY—On Wednesday, September 14 at 7pm Fathom Events and Open Road Films are bringing an exclusive one-night event – Snowden Live – to a handful of select cinemas nationwide, including Millerton’s The Moviehouse!

Following this advanced screening Edward Snowden and Oliver Stone will Skype with audiences LIVE from Moscow!

In this politically-charged, pulse-pounding thriller, Academy Award-Winning director Oliver Stone tackles the most controversial, important and fascinating true story of the 21st century. Snowden reveals the incredible untold personal story of Edward Snowden, the polarizing figure who exposed shocking illegal surveillance activities by the NSA and became one of the most wanted men in the world.

The dramatization is written by Kieran Fitzgerald and Oliver Stone, and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Snowden, Nicolas Cage, Tom Wilkinson, Shailene Woodley, Joely Richardson and Hudson Valley notable, Melissa Leo. The film is directed by Oliver Stone and opens to national audiences on September 16.
