State Police continue to investigate fire at GAP Distribution Center

The New York State Police are continuing their investigation into the commercial structure fire that occurred on August 29, 2016 at the GAP Northeast Distribution Center located in Fishkill, New York.
Demolition of the building section that is at risk of collapse is scheduled to begin today.
The ATF National Response Team, which has federal jurisdiction over fires involving interstate commerce, is on scene and partnering with the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division, the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control and the New York State Police to determine the cause of the fire. At this point in the investigation, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
