Smith, Anne I. CLIFTON PARK Anne I. Smith, 86, of Hollandale Lane died on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam after a long illness. She was born December 17, 1929, in Queens and was the beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Johanna Millet Cunningham. She was a graduate of Pine Plains High School and the wife of the late Charles P. Smith who died in 1990. Anne retired from Manufacturers Hanover Bank in Manhattan after many years of service. She had been a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park. She loved to travel, but most important to her was her family and grandchildren. She is the devoted mother of Gregory (Loretta) Smith of Blauvelt, N.Y. and Deborah A. Smith of Clifton Park; cherished grandmother of Brian and Meghan Smith of Blauvelt; She was predeceased by her nine siblings. Calling hours will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rte. 9 in Clifton Park. The funeral will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Blauvelt where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y. The family wishes to give special thanks the entire staff of River Ridge Living Center for the wonderful care given to their mother and grandmother. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rte. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
