Millerton, New York – On August 10, 2016, the New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrested Dustin G. Holst-Grubbe, age 20, of Millerton, New York, for Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a Class E Felony.  The arrest concluded a joint investigation conducted with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Connecticut State Police.

On August 4, 2016, Troopers were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to a residence on North Center Street to investigate the theft of a 1998 Subaru Forester.  The complainant reported that at approximately 1:00 a.m., she observed a male subject steal her vehicle and flee at a high rate of speed.  She immediately contacted 911 for assistance.

Subsequent to the multi-agency investigation, it was discovered that Holst-Grubbe was responsible for the larceny of the vehicle.  He had been remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on August 7, 2016 following a burglary investigation conducted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.

Holst-Grubbe was arraigned before the Town of Northeast Justice Johnson and returned to the custody of the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1000 cash bail or $5000 bond on the State Police charges.  He is additionally being held on charges from the City of Middletown and the State of Connecticut.
