Beacon woman arrested for DWI following traffic stop

Beacon, New York – On August 1, 2016, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Danielle Warren, 32 years old, of Beacon, New York, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, and Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Warren was stopped by Troopers on South Walnut Street for failing to stop at the stop sign located at North Walnut Street and Main Street.  An investigation conducted at the scene revealed that she was intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop.  Further investigation revealed that her driving privileges were revoked due to a previous DWI related arrest.

Warren was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear in the City of Beacon Court on August 17, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. and released to a sober party.
