State Police Investigate a Bank Robbery in Middletown

The State Police at Middletown are currently investigating a bank robbery in the Town of Wawayanda.  The robbery occurred on July 27th at approximately 3:50 PM at the M&T Bank located at 240 Dolson Avenue Middletown.

The suspect was described as a white male, late 20s to early 30s in age, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build.  The suspect entered the bank and presented a note to the  teller indicating his intent to rob the bank.  The subject left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the immediate area on foot.  There was no weapon displayed and no bank employees were injured during the robbery.
