July 23rd is right around the corner and Pawling Rotary along with their partners, Hannaford’s, The Pawling Resource Center and The Pawling Central School District are pleased and proud to sponsor this day of “giving back” to benefit the Food Pantry of The Pawling Resource Center!

Volunteers from all four organizations will be on hand to help make this day a success for the PRC and the Pawling community members they serve.  The school bus (the use of which is a donation from the school district) will be manned by CSEA drivers, Tammy Fielding and Scott Dunlavy, who have graciously agreed to volunteer their services for the Rotary’s “Stuff the Bus” activity in support of the Pawling Resource Center. .  Pawling Rotary Volunteers will be wearing their blue Pawling Rotarians at Work shirts, so be sure to say hello as they assist you with the bus stuffing process.

Hannaford’s will have a handy dandy list of all the urgent needs for the Resource Center posted in easy to spot places, as well as easy to access needed goods placed on easy to access tables in the front of the store. Hannaford employees will be busy setting up the store for this community wide event.

Stuff  The Bus will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 2 p.m., so if you wish to participate, please shop during those times.  At 2 p.m. the mightily stuffed school bus will be headed over to the Resource Center at 126 East Main Street in Pawling village, where PRC volunteers will load these much needed items into the center and onto the shelves!

So, save the date!  July 23rd!

And look for more info soon!!!
