Volunteer Drivers Needed at the Pawling Resource Center

pawlingre

With transportation to medical appointment up over 24% from last year and up an additional 8% just since January of this year, the PRC is seeking neighbors who are willing to help neighbors. You may volunteer according to YOUR schedule and availability and all you need is a valid New York driver’s license and a safe driving record. Volunteer drivers must be over the age of 21, but the PRC can provide the car if you would rather not to use your own!

The Pawling Resource Center is the only 501c3 charitable organization in Pawling dedicated to assisting those in need. Providing transportation to medical appointments and to the grocery store is one of their signature programs, along with the Resource Center food bank and the loan of essential medical equipment.

So, if you have a few extra hours available in your week and would like to do something that will make a big difference in the lives of Pawling community members in need, call Terry Ariano, program coordinator, at the Pawing Resource Center at 855-3459. To find out more about the many services available through the Pawling Resource Center, log on to their web site at www.pawlingresourcecenter.org.
