Carmela Nardoni, of Pawling, NY, formerly of Bronx, NY died Sunday June 26, 2016 at Putnam Hospital Center. She was 86 years old. Carmela was born on October 8, 1929 in New York City, NY daughter to the late Nicholas and Pauline (Basile) Melito.
On October 28, 1950 she married the love of her life Louis Nardoni at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Manhattan. He predeceased her in 2004. Together Louis and Carmela raised 3 children.Her children and grandchildren were her life and meant the world to her.
She is survived by her daughter Marie Carlino of Pawling and her son Laouis Nardoni of Bronx, NY, her 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and her sister Grace Turso. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at St. John’s Church, Pawling, NY. Interment will be private. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday June 28 from 6pm-9pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Brewster, NY.
