Motorcycle Pursuit Ends in Arrest

At approximately 2:40 pm, Trooper James Lydon observed Anelli pass a car in a no passing zone. Trooper Lydon attempted to stop Anelli who failed to comply with the emergency vehicle’s lights and sirens. The high-speed chase continued for approximately 8 miles before Anelli stopped for police.
The defendant was charged with Unlawful Fleeing from a Police Officer 3rd Degree, Reckless Driving,Unlawful Possesion of Marihuana, Unlicensed Operation, Unregistered Operation, Failure to Comply with a Police Officer, Speeding and numerous other V&T charges.
He was arraigned before the Town of Livingston Court and remanded to Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash and $10,000 bond. He is due to return to court on July 14, 2016.
