NOTICE TO SHERMAN TAXPAYERS
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Sherman, CT that taxes for Motor Vehicles along with the first installment of Real Estate and Personal Property on the Grand List of October 1, 2015 becomes due and payable July 1, 2016. If the first installment is not paid on or before August 2, 2016 interest will be charged at a rate of 1.5% per month from the original due date, with a minimum interest charge of $2.00. Any tax under $100, and all Motor Vehicle Taxes are due and payable in-full July 1, 2016, last day to pay without penalty is August 2, 2016. USPS postmarks are accepted.
Failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer from his/her liability for the payment of taxes or delinquent charges (§12-130).
Payments can be mailed to the Tax Collector’s Office, P.O. Box 39, Sherman, CT 06784.

Saturday (July Only) 9-12.
