East Fishkill police Officer Administers Narcan to overdose victim on Route 52 in Holmes
East Fishkill Police Department – On June 17 just after midnight East Fishkill police responded to an unconscious person at a residence on Route 52 in Holmes. Upon arriving, Sgt. Derrick Cuccia and Officer Scott Grove were led to a 30 year old male unconscious on the floor. They observed that the man was barely breathing and determined he had overdosed on Heroin. Officer Grove administered two doses of Narcan to the victim. Upon arrival of the East Fishkill Rescue Squad and Mobile Life Paramedics, the man had become responsive while being placed in the ambulance. He was taken to Putnam Hospital Center where he was treated, and hopefully gets further treatment for his addiction.
