a loaded hand gun and collapsible baton

PRESS RELEASE
Dunkirk, NY – On June 19, 2016, at approximately 10:41 a.m., State Police stopped a motorcycle on I-90 for a speeding violations. The driver of the motorcycle, Charles Bozeman III, 39, of Cleveland, OH, was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun and a collapsible baton. He was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Dunkirk, where he was subsequently charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree; a Class C Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree; a Class D Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree; a Class A Misdemeanor
- Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree; a Class E Felony
- Speeding Traffic Violation
Bozeman was arraigned before the Town of Dunkirk Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $40,000 cash bail or $80,000 bond.
