Connecticut man charged with felony drug possession

PRESS RELEASE

New Lebanon, New York – On June 9, 2016, New York State Police from the New Lebanon Barracks arrested 26-year-old Ethan R. Burwick of Cheshire, Connecticut, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7thDegree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

Troopers stopped Burwick on State Route 22 for speeding.  An investigation revealed that Burwick was in possession of candies made with concentrated cannabis, marihuana wax, and marihuana.
Burwick was arraigned in the Town of New Lebanon Court and released after he posted $168 bail.  He is scheduled to return to the Town of New Lebanon Court at a later date and time.
