Lawrence Eugene O’Dell, 68, a life-time resident of Wingdale, passed away June 16, 2016 in Sharon, CT.
Lawrence was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on August 29, 1947 to Harold O’Dell and Violet (Burlingame) O’Dell.
A wheel chair mechanic at the Taconic DDSO, Wassaic, NY, he retired in 2002. An avid hunter, he was a NYS Bow Instructor, and did Sportsman Education for 20 years.
He is survived by his son Lawrence E. O’Dell II, and his wife, Amy, of Wingdale, NY; his daughter, Michelle O’Dell of Clifton Park, NY; his granddaughter, Lyla, who was his “heart & soul”; his wife, Priscilla (Carey) O’Dell of Troy, NY; his brother, Vernon Hadden Jr., of Danbury, CT; and his two sisters, Violet Lorraine Binotto of Virginia and Linda McEathren of Gilderland, NY. He was predeceased by his younger brother Robert O’Dell.
