Monroe man arrested for Animal Cruelty

PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police at Monroe in conjunction with the Orange County American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) announce the arrest of Eduardo Rubiera, age 37 of Monroe, NY, for the Felony offense of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals and the Misdemeanor offense of Animal Neglect.

On June 11, 2016, Eduardo Rubiera was arrested and charged subsequent to a three month long joint investigation in which he was found to have failed to provide sustenance to a companion animal in the Town of Monroe, Orange County, NY

Eduardo Rubiera was arraigned in the Town of Monroe Court and was remanded to the custody of the Orange County Jail on a $5,000 cash bail.  He was ordered to return to the Town of Monroe Court at a later date.
