Pine Plains, NY – Norma M. Keeler, 92, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
She was born on November 9, 1923 in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Mrs. Keeler worked for the Pine Plains Ford Garage. She also was a school bus driver for Pine Plains Central School and was a longtime parishioner of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church.
On June 18, 1945 at Immaculate Conception Church in Bangall, NY. She married George Joseph Keeler Sr. He predeceased her on August 8, 1998.
Survivors include her four sons, George Joseph (Ruth) Keeler Jr. of Pine Plains, NY; Gary Richard (JoAnn) Keeler of Pine Plains, NY; Gordon Raymond (Sandy) Keeler of Millerton, NY; Glenn David Keeler of Stanfordville, NY; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Calling hours are Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at 7749 South Main St. Pine Plains, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM on Friday, May 27, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, 68 Poplar Ave. Pine Plains, NY.
A reception will follow at Lia’s Mountain View Restaurant in Pine Plains.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
