Fishkill, New York – On May 20, 2016, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks arrested Manfi A. Doukoure, age 22, of New York, New York, for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony, and False Personation, a Class B Misdemeanor.

On May 20, 2016, Troopers were dispatched to Wells Fargo Bank, located on Main Street in Fishkill, for a fraud complaint.  An investigation revealed that Doukoure had attempted to fraudulently open a bank account using a counterfeit driver’s license. While being interviewed, Doukoure had provided a false name to the police.

The State Police were assisted by the Village of Fishkill Police Department.

Doukoure was arraigned at the Town of Wappinger Court. He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. His next appearance was scheduled for May 25, 2016, at 9:30 a.m., at the Village of Fishkill Court
