Kiera Magnetti of Stormville, NY graduates from Champlain College

BURLINGTON, VT (05/20/2016)– Kiera Magnetti of Stormville, NY graduated from Champlain College with a degree in Communication on May 14, 2016.

Champlain College’s 138th commencement was held at Edmunds Field in Burlington, Vt. A total of 537 undergraduates received their associate and bachelors degrees during the ceremony.

Champlain College President Donald J. Laackman lauded the students with a long list of accomplishments the Class of 2016 has accomplished during their years at Champlain. In addition, honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degrees were presented to Vermont musician Grace Potter and renowned author Katherine Paterson. Major Chris Gookin, ’99, State Public Affairs Officer for the Vermont National Guard, offered the Alumni Welcome to the graduates and their families. Nina Knorr, ’16, a professional writing major in the Division of Communication and Creative Media, delivered the Senior address.
