Dover, New York – On May 15, 2016, New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrested 25-year-old Madison L. Marshall, of Millerton, New York, for Falsifying Business Records in the 1st Degree and Identity Theft 2nd Degree, both Class E Felonies.

In March of 2016, Troopers were contacted by a complainant who reported that someone attempted to open several credit card accounts utilizing his name, date of birth, and social security number.

A subsequent investigation revealed that Marshall, a former acquaintance of the victim, had used his personal information to open credit card accounts.

Marshall was issued an appearance ticket directing her to appear before the Town of Dover Court on May 17, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
