Amber Smith of Millerton Inducted into Psi Chi

ONEONTA, NY (05/16/2016)– Amber Smith of Millerton, NY, was inducted into Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, during SUNY Oneonta’s thirty-seventh annual induction ceremony on May 1, 2016.

Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of individual members in the field of psychology and to advance psychological science. Its mission is to produce a well-educated, ethical, and socially responsible member committed to contributing to the science and profession of psychology, and to society in general.

A liberal arts institution with a strong focus on undergraduate research and service learning, SUNY Oneonta consistently gains recognition for delivering excellence and value.
