for felony possession of narcotics

05/10/16 – The New York State Police, Highland BCI announce the arrest of 24 year old Nicholas Cooper Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (a class B felony).
On 05/08/16 the patrols from the New York State Police at Highland conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Nicholas Cooper which occurred in the Town of Lloyd on State Route 9W. A roadside investigation found that Cooper was unlawfully in possession of a quantity of oxycodone, a controlled substance. Cooper was subsequently arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
Cooper was arraigned on 05/09/16 before Judge Rizzo in the Town of Lloyd Court and was subsequently remanded to Ulster County Jai
