Bronx woman arrested for stealing from Unemployment

PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police in Monroe announce the arrest of Felicia Greene, age 43 of the Bronx, NY for Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony, Falsifying Business Records in the 1st, a Class E Felony and Offer for Filing a False Instrument in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony. The arrest is the result of a joint investigation conducted by the New York State Department of Labor Special Investigation Division and the New York State Police. Mrs. Greene, a former resident of the Town of Chester, is accused of unlawfully collecting over $9,000.00 worth of unemployment insurance benefits between June of 2015 and December of 2015. Mrs. Greene was arraigned before the Town of Chester Court and released on $150 cash bail. She is scheduled to return to the Town of Chester Court on June 6th, 2016.
