DOVER PLAINS – Betsy M. Mulder, 51 of Dover Plains, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Sharon Hospital. Born on March 1, 1965 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Gerald C. Becker and Margie A. Heinburge Becker. Betsy was predeceased by her father on May 11, 2010. She graduated from FD Roosevelt High School, Class of 1983 and Dutchess Community College. She was employed as a therapy aide at Wassaic Developmental Center. On May 30, 2004, Betsy married Peter Mulder.
Betsy is survived by her mother, Margie A. Becker of Hyde Park; her husband Peter Mulder of Dover Plains; her son, Charles L. Arnold of Yonkers; 2 sisters and their husbands, Bonnie and Bob Hazenbush of Red Hook and Brenda and Sal DeCicco of Kingston; as well as nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins and her 2 cats, Coco and Pepper.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 30 from 11am – 1 pm at 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook with funeral services to follow at 1 pm from the funeral home. Interment will be in Nine Partners Cemetery, Millbrook.
