Two Rockland County Men Arrested for Drug Possession

On April 18 the New York State Police in Haverstraw arrested Brian Daly, age 38, of Suffern, NY and Michael Toomey, age 46, of Congers, NY after they were found to possess a quantity of mushrooms laced with the hallucinogen, psilocybin.  The pair were in a vehicle stopped for Vehicle and Traffic law violations on the New York State Thruway in the Town of Clarkstown.  They were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree.  In addition Toomey had an active warrant for assault from the Town of Clarkstown PD and Daly was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs.  They were arraigned in the Town of Clarkstown Court and remanded to Rockland County Jail
