Reptiles, Amphibians & Climate Change

Dr. Klemens is a nationally recognized conservation biologist trained at Harvard as a herpetologist. He is a member of the scientific staff at the American Museum of Natural History where he conducts collections-based research on amphibian and reptile biodiversity.

Dr. Klemens’ field surveys in eastern Dutchess and Putnam counties provided much of our knowledge of the Great Swamp’s biodiversity. He was also active in the founding of FrOGS!
